was born in 1967 in Berchtesgaden. Since his completion of photographers school Lette in Berlin 1992, his main subjects are architecture and food photography. He teaches photography at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and had several exhibitions of fine art landscape photographs in the last years. As a perfectionist and fine art printer, he uses digital medium format as it offers the optimal precondition for his large size prints.
Living in the heart of the Bavarian Alps, Georg’s passion belongs to the breathtaking landscapes with its mountains, forests and waters. When nature opens its treasure chest here to the eyes of a beholding photographer, he can only try to share those moments of purest happiness by a picture. As an alpine photographer, one appreciates trees even more while considering their struggle with weather inclemencies, avalanches and temperature that sets a limiting tree line.
