is a professional German photographer and geographer; born in 1985. His photographic work covers a whole range of topics from landscapes to cityscapes. Kilian is most interested in remote areas, particularly nature, as well as lifestyle and urban architecture of melting pots. Both worlds fascinate him. He tries to capture his individual view of the changing and challenging environments. His main subjects are the landscapes of Central and Northern Europe. With his geographical background he doesn’t merely try to take images of landscapes, but he rather wants to understand the genesis of the specific subject he is looking at.
